URGENT ROUTE UPDATES

Effective immediately, 23-Hamilton will have a slight detour at John R.

There will be a slight detour on Saturday, Nov. 16 on 5-Van Dyke at Lafayette for water main work.

Significant detours in and around downtown begin Wednesday, Nov. 27 in advance of the Thanksgiving Day parade and Turkey Trot.

The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) is the largest public transit provider in Michigan that serves the city of Detroit, surrounding suburbs, and neighboring cities, including Highland Park and Hamtramck. DDOT prides itself on providing reliable, clean, safe, and efficient service to an average of 85,000 riders daily.

 

The Improve Detroit app now features a “Bus Shelter” category! Report broken glass, a missing bench, or other issues via the app.

  1. Download the app  https://detroitmi.gov/ImproveDetroit
  2. Tap the “+” button at the bottom of the home screen
  3. Take a picture, submit a picture from your photo library, or select “No Photo
  4. Move the map to select the location and tap “Next
  5. Scroll down to “Bus Shelter Issues
  6. Add as much information as you have – the more the better!
  7. Tap “Submit

Cashier’s Window hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Reduced Fares program hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
