The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the General Services Department and Parks and Recreation Division is looking for vendors to provide structured, supervised enrichment opportunities for Detroit youth during the summer months. Each summer, the City of Detroit Recreation Department provides free childcare and enrichment programing to nearly 1,500 youth across the city. The City of Detroit is invested in ensuring families have access to affordable, high-quality childcare, allowing caregivers to continue working in the summer months without the added financial burden of childcare. Our programs focus on the whole child, addressing the academic, social, emotional and health needs of each child we serve.
