The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the General Service Department and Parks and Recreation is seeking multiple vendors to provide structured, supervised program opportunities for Recreation Center members.
Programs will be run during the 2024 calendar year during at least one program session or a drop-in outing basis.
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking vendors to provide the following programs:
1. Exercise classes including Zumba, Pilates, Cycling, Aerobics, Boot Camps, Yoga, Tai Chi, and Dance Classes
2. Youth Educational classes including STEAM programs, foreign language, ASL, and ESL, literacy programs
3. General enrichment classes, including pottery, art classes, crochet, music lessons, nature-based programs, drama programs
4. Non-traditional sports, including cricket, lacrosse, rugby, archery, badminton, rock climbing, figure skating, disc golf
5. Aquatic-based classes, including canoeing, scuba, kayaking, swim lessons, and water polo
6. Senior classes, including chair aerobics, water aerobics, walking clubs
