Coming Soon: Episode 4 - Sheri Burton- Midwest Civic Council of Block Clubs 

Our upcoming guest requires no introduction. If you have been making the rounds at the Midwest-Tireman block clubs, you will come across Ms. Sheri Burton. 

Ms. Burton is a Lifelong Detroiter, a Proud United Auto Workers Union retiree, and Precinct Delegate. She is currently the president of the Midwest Civic Council of Block Clubs, and Neighborhood Association, the recipient of grants from the Michigan Environmental Council, Detroit Future City, and Rocket Community Investment Fund. She has a strong belief in faith, family, and community. She was also one of the nominees in Michigan Community Resources' “The Power of One Dedicated Woman 2018 and 2021.” 

With her experience in the auto industry and neighborhood block clubs, Ms. Burton was the perfect person to be asked questions about industrial development. One of her favorite statements as it relates to community activism is, “My name does not have to be on it because my heart is in it”.
