The City of Detroit Planning and Development Department proposes to spend up to $400,000 to hire a consultant team to create a neighborhood framework for the near and long-term planning of the North End Neighborhood of Detroit. The requested scope of services includes technical advice on land disposition, parks and open spaces, road improvements, housing stabilization and development, pedestrian and vehicle safety, cultural heritage and historic preservation combined with strong community engagement. Upon approval, the framework study will have a tentative start date of January 2022 and potentially run through December 2023.
