Detroit's Women History Project Community Meeting - May 21, 2025

Please join us on Wednesday, May 21st from 5-7pm for a public meeting on the Detroit Women’s History Project.

We want to hear from you – who are the historic women that contributed to Detroit’s communities? What spaces did they influence or were historically important to women? What organizations and social/political/cultural movements owe their background to Detroit’s women?

📍 WCCCD 1001 W. Fort St, Frank Hayden Community Room

The Women’s History project aims to explore women’s history and their contributions to Detroit. The project will result in a historic context report and at least one building being listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Light refreshments will be provided, and free parking is available on site.
