Feed the Frontlines - Detroit
City, Partners launch effort to feed employees on the front line of COVID-19 crisis and support Detroit restaurants
· Restaurants can sign up to participate today at
· Meal delivery to hospitals, police precincts and fire houses to begin Wednesday
· City expects to distribute more than 10,000 meals
In support of those on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, Mayor Mike Duggan announced today that Detroit police, EMS, fire, healthcare employees, and other front line workers will receive free meals, thanks to a partnership with the City of Detroit, Angel Share, business and community leaders.
The Feed the Front Lines effort will help Detroit restaurants and caterers whose businesses have been seriously impacted by the crisis.
