Office of Eviction Defense to host Right to Counsel program meeting for residents
The City of Detroit’s Office of Eviction Defense will host its second public meeting to provide residents with updates regarding the Right to Counsel program. The Right to Counsel Ordinance was passed in May of 2022, and grants the right to legal counsel for low-income Detroit renters or tenants facing eviction.
Participants of the meeting will have the opportunity to ask questions, as well as provide comments and recommendations about the program.
The meeting details are below in English, Spanish and Arabic.
