WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF RAPHAEL WASHINGTON LAYS OUT HIS PLAN
We meet up with D1 resident and recently appointed Wayne County Sheriff Raphael Washington, who assumed the post in January following the passing of beloved Sheriff Benny Napoleon. Look for Sheriff Washington to discuss his overall law enforcement philosophy as well as initiatives the sheriff’s department is using to improve public safety.

36th DISTRICT COURT CHIEF JUDGE McCONICO ON POTENTIAL DETROIT EVICTIONS
Now that a federal court has lifted the nationwide moratorium on home evictions during the current COVID-19 pandemic, how are our courts preparing for what could be a housing crisis affecting families across the city? Judge William McConico, Chief Judge of the 36th District Court will join us to outline how certain court procedures are being changed in anticipation of new cases.

NORTH ROSEDALE PARK: 100 YEARS & COUNTING
The North Rosedale Park neighborhood recently hit the century mark and is celebrating this milestone with the release of a book written by longtime D1 resident Rose M. Love. Learn about the storied history of this District 1 community as the author drops by to talk about “North Rosedale Park: One Hundred Years of History”.
