313 HOPE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAM

Behavioral Health is focused on the impact of societal forces on the health and well-being of our body, mind and spirit. Behavioral Health addresses substance use and  mental health of Detroiters through injury prevention and harm reduction strategies.

H – Harm Reduction – Syringe Service Program, Safe Drug disposal, Naloxone distribution
O – Outreach – Community referrals for counseling and case management services to City of Detroit residents
Prevention – Preventing mental/substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders and related problems by conducting evidenced based programming
E – Education – Trauma informed, Substance Use Disorder, Suicide Prevention, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Opioid Use Disorders, Naloxone, Tobacco Cessation, and Mental Health
