BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAM

The Behavioral Health Program is dedicated to providing support and promoting mental wellness to residents facing mental health and substance misuse challenges. The program provides mental health training, substance misuse/abuse education, and Naloxone distribution education and outreach to residents, businesses and organizations throughout the city of Detroit.

Behavioral Health provides licenses to providers seeking to become a licensed syringe service program. The Program is committed to promoting harm reduction, preventing the spread of infectious diseases, and connecting participants with resources to improve their health and well-being.
