Joe Louis Greenway Southwest Planning Open House

Join us to learn about the Joe Louis Greenway path in the Lonyo and Springwells neighborhoods and the Patton Park Master Plan. We will have designs for you to review for the Lonyo segments. We also want to hear your ideas for the route in Springwells and what you want to connect to.

The Joe Louis Greenway Neighborhood Planning Study is a two-year-long community planning process that will study opportunities for neighborhoods to leverage the impact of the Greenway for:

Neighborhood improvements.
Connectivity and mobility.
Building wealth.
Creating jobs & sustaining business.
Housing affordability.
We hope to prepare construction plans this year. Your input will determine the final design and route!
