City of Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (DBRA) is considering a proposed Brownfield Plan for the Former Fisher Body Plant Redevelopment Project at 6501 Hastings Street Project. A DBRA Public Hearing to receive comments on the proposed Brownfield Plan will be held via Zoom on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 5:00 PM EST.

The eligible property (the “Property”) consists of three (3) parcels (approximately 8 acres), bounded by Piquette Avenue to the north, St. Antoine Street to the west, Harper Avenue to the South (or North depending on the parcel), and Hastings Street to the east (or west depending on the parcel).

All interested persons desiring to make public comments will be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing and are also invited to provide written testimony or materials concerning the Brownfield Plan via email to [email protected].

Further information and a copy of the proposed Brownfield Plan may be obtained from the DEGC website. The public hearing and this notice have been authorized by the City of Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.

With advance notice of seven calendar days, the City of Detroit will provide interpreter services at public meetings, including American Sign Language, language translation and reasonable ADA accommodations.
