The purpose of this policy is to establish procedures for acceptable use of the images, information, and tools within the Detroit Police Department's facial recognition software and the Statewide Network of Agency Photos (SNAP) application.
This directive established written guidelines to ensure that , when utilizing personal web pages and internet and social network sites, members use appropriate discretion when referencing the Detroit Police Department as not to discredit or disrespect the Department.
