Parent Information Brochure about Hearing and Vision for school children
The Michigan Hearing Screening Program is a three-stage process designed to identify children with hearing loss and/or middle ear dysfunction. Most of the children screened are between 3 and 12 years of age.
Michigan’s Hearing and Vision screenings are offered FREE of charge by local health departments in collaboration with local schools; the programs are administered by the Michigan Department of Community Health.
