The North End Neighborhood Framework Vision

The Framework recommendations were developed in partnership between the residents of the North End, community stakeholders, and the City of Detroit.

Delray

The City of Detroit along with ROSSETTI, is currently developing a comprehensive framework plan for the Delray neighborhood. The plan will strive to identify solutions to achieve an appropriate and responsible balance between the existing housing that exists and the future intensive uses that will arise with the development of the new international bridge.

Greater Corktown

The City of Detroit, in partnership with the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, is currently working with Perkins + Will to develop a Comprehensive Neighborhood Framework Plan for the Greater Corktown area, which consists of the neighborhoods of Historic Corktown, North Corktown, and adjacent communities, particularly Hubbard Richard.

Eastern Market

The Eastern Market Framework covers a study area of approximately 1.1 square miles, incorporating the Eastern Market and the surrounding Greater Eastern Market residential neighborhood.

Rosa Parks and Clairmount

The Rosa Parks and Clairmount Neighborhood Framework Plan is in the implementation phase and includes a ½ square mile of the neighborhood within a 1 mile stretch of historic 12th street.

West Vernor

The City of Detroit has created a comprehensive neighborhood framework plan for the West Vernor Corridor. This plan honors the large amounts of time, thinking and resources that community members have invested in planning neighborhood improvements, through more than twenty planning initiatives over the past five to ten years. Currently the plan is in the implementation stage with the focus on directing resources where they will do the most to enhance quality of life.
