PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
In 2025 this park will be receiving much needed improvements, through a $2.5 million City funded project. The City follows an equity metric (more info at detroitmi.gov/parksplan) to determine when to fundraise and renovate a park across our system of 300+ parks. And Cass Park is in the current phase to be improved. Planning and engagement will begin in the fall 2024 and construction will be later in 2025.
RECENT UPDATES

The next step is to take the current design concept to the Historic District Commission for their review ad approval this Summer. Construction is likely to start next Spring season (2026).
