A faith-based outreach agenda consisting of Pastoral and Clergy involvement with Ceasefire
Open communication between law enforcement and outreach workers – accredited to the persistence of the outreach team in establishing a relationship with police precincts
Personalized mentorship offers a unique opportunity for participants to receive individualized support, guidance, and positive role modeling.
Group sessions play a significant role in the Ceasefire model, offering a platform for members to come together, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Actively engaging with communities to build trust, provide support services, offer alternatives to gang involvement, and work collaboratively to prevent and reduce gang-related activities through education, awareness, and empowerment initiatives.
Standing in support of families, victims, and residents who want the violence to end in their communities
Collaboration with clergy and residents following violent trauma that has occurred in a neighborhood
On-the-ground outreach, establishing connections, de-escalating tensions, providing support services, and offering alternatives to retaliation or further violence through relationship-building and conflict resolution strategies.
Serving as a liaison between members, community organizations, and legal professionals to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and coordination of services. Advocate for members' rights, safety, and well-being within the legal system.
To provide direct legal services to individuals affected by violence, including victims, witnesses, and their families. Offer guidance on legal procedures, rights, and available resources.
To conduct workshops, training sessions, and informational sessions for members and staff on legal topics related to program protocols, violence prevention, victim rights, and legal resources.
