Direct/1:1 Mentoring

PURPOSE

To work together on an individual basis to ensure that participants are properly engaging with the resources that they have sought out.

Providing 1:1 direct mentorship to members of Ceasefire lies in the profound impact it can have on individuals at risk of violence or already involved in violent activities. This personalized mentorship offers a unique opportunity for participants to receive individualized support, guidance, and positive role modeling.

Mentoring establishes a trusting and supportive relationship between the outreach worker and the member. Through regular interactions, the outreach worker can understand the members challenges, aspirations, and personal circumstances. This personalized approach allows the outreach worker to tailor their guidance and support to meet the specific needs of the individual, helping to build a strong foundation for positive change.
