Tonight: Mayor to deliver final State of the City address from inside new development at Hudson's Detroit
Mayor Mike Duggan will deliver his final State of the City Address at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25. For this year's speech and trademark slide presentation, the Mayor will give the public its first look inside the new development at the Hudson's block, a $1.4-billion mixed use development on the site of the former Hudson's Department Store. The development, which includes the second tallest building in Michigan at 685 feet, will be the new home of GM World Headquarters, as well as a new five-star hotel, condominiums, retail space and event space.
Tickets to the event are by invitation only. The Mayor's speech and presentation will be broadcast live on the City’s cable channel (Comcast Channel 10 and AT&T Channel 99 in Detroit) and livestreamed on the City’s social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X and Instagram.
Streaming of the program begins at 6:30 p.m., and the Mayor will take the podium just prior to 7 p.m., give a brief welcome and begin his formal address at approximately 7:01:30 p.m. and end at 7:58 p.m.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and will close promptly at 6:30 p.m. Please have your media credential ready to ensure a smooth check-in process. The entrance for the public, including reporters, is at the corner of Gratiot and Farmer.
PARKING: Complimentary but there are some steps you need to take. Follow the instructions below for parking. Complimentary parking is provided ONLY at One Campus Martius Garage, 1140 Farmer Street, at the corner of Monroe and Farmer. Registration with Metropolis is required.
