New Bid Opportunity

The City of Detroit requests proposals from qualified firms to provide a cost effective solution to lease print management products, provide supplies, render related professional, technical, and Managed Print Service (MPS),  for newly procured and existing, multi-functional office devices (MFD), printers, plotters, (individually and collectively, “Equipment”) on a cost per image (CPI) basis for all City of Detroit departments and agencies.

All Printers, Copiers, and MFD Equipment (leased, purchased, or existing), are to be covered under the Vendors Managed Print Service contract on a cost per image basis. This shall include break fix, parts, labor, technical support, services, and supplies. This does not mean that all Equipment will include supplies, but only applies to CPI for Printers, Copiers, and MFD Equipment. High-quality Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) toner must be supplied for all printers, copiers, and MFD Equipment.

The selected vendor shall possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing leased or purchased output management products and rendering related professional, technical, and Managed Print Service (MPS) for digital copiers, faxes, scanners, printers, plotters, and multi-functional office devices (MFD) for projects of similar scope and size. The selected vendor shall have experience in providing assessment services to large organizations.

The selected Vendor will be required to analyze the City of Detroit's current imaging and printing infrastructure and aid the City of Detroit in understanding the current costs, usage patterns, equipment and user needs, security and environmental considerations. The vendor shall be FTA Certified.
