Detroit’s Civil Rights, Inclusion & Opportunity (CRIO) hosting annual Black Business Crawl in honor of Black History Month
The public is invited to join the City of Detroit Civil Rights, Inclusion, and Opportunity (CRIO) as they host their Annual Black History Month Black Business Crawl – traveling to a select group of Black-owned businesses across the Detroit this Friday, February 23 honoring Black History Month.
CRIO will kick-off the Crawl at 9 a.m. at Detroit Rosa Coffee Shop, owned and operated by Charity Dean, a past CRIO director and now CEO of Metro Detroit Black Business Alliance. Many of the businesses on the “crawl schedule” are Certified Detroit businesses through CRIO’s Detroit Business Opportunity Program (DBOP). With large-scale events coming to Detroit, these businesses are in position to respond and serve where needed.
WHEN: Friday, February 23, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: The scheduled businesses Include: Detroit Rosa, DTown Vinyl, Pure Peace Products, Art In Motion, Eric's I've Been Framed, House of Morrison Shoe Repair, Detroit Voltage, DaCut Dispensary and IVY Kitchen + Cocktails Detroit.
