Private Sector Partners

Why Join SHIELD?

The Detroit Police Department SHIELD private sector program is designed to establish a partnership between the Detroit Police Department and the private sector. The DPD SHIELD program embraces partnerships between security directors, safety managers, business executives, and business owners. The program's focus enables DPD SHIELD to serve the unique needs of each partner.

Benefits of DPD SHIELD Partnership

The DPD SHIELD private sector program keeps our private sector partners informed of developing situations within the City and around the world, preparations for upcoming events, and new intelligence and threat information. The program shares homeland security information and resources to all businesses and critical infrastructure facilities throughout the City of Detroit via bi-weekly private sector bulletins and direct email notifications.
