As DPW was able to complete most of the streetscape's concrete and road work, we will be out again in the spring to put the finishing touches on the project including, landscaping, pavement markings and signage. Over the winter we will continue to work on lighting and traffic signal work.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or feedback,
Best,

The Kercheval Streetscape Project will be between E Grand Blvd to Parker. A road resurfacing with new pavement markings will also be done in conjuction of the project between Mt. Elliot and E Grand Blvd and Parker east to St. Jean. The streetscape project will include improved sidewalk, lighting, landscaping, traffic calming measures, street resurfacing and pavement markings and signage.
The project is anticipated to begin construction in the summer 2020. Please sign up at the link below to get updates on construction!
The project stems from the Islandview Greater Villages Neighborhood Strategy and Implementation Plan which the community identified Kercheval between E Grand Blvd and Parker as a neighborhood main retail corridor where the community would like to see an increase pedestrian safety, beautifying the street, slowing down the traffic and speeding cars along with improving ways people can get through other modes of transportation.
