June 21, 2024 - Office of Mobility/Public Works - Detroit MODES Project - Traffic Safety Data Analytics System - CIOGS Specification Report 

The City of Detroit's Office of Mobility Innovation (OMI) previously secured 100% federally funded award from the USDOT Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) grant program for the Detroit Mobility Optimization through Data for Equity and Safety (Detroit MODES) initiative. This project aims to reduce traffic fatalities and enhance transportation-safety and operations equity for Detroiters, especially in Historically Disadvantaged Communities (HDCs)

High-definition close circuit television overview cameras for incident monitoring purposes

 

 City of Detroit General Services Department- (Surveillance Technology - Drones)

The General Services Department - Blight to Beauty- Corridors (B2B Corridors) certifies that the information contained in this document reflects the complete and accurate proposed use of the technology.

The B2B Corridors’ certified drone pilot will use the drone equipment stated in this document. 

 

City of Detroit Recreation Department security - Recreation Dept Security Specification Report

The City of Detroit General Service Department is looking to install security cameras on the exterior and parking lots of the recreation centers stated in this document. The goal of the cameras is to protect the recreation centers and surrounding parking lots from criminal activity.

 

The Detroit Fire Department -  Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology

The Detroit Fire Department is seeking Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology that can offer a wide range of services ranging from search and rescue to providing overhead and tactical views of a fire scene. The UAV technology will assist Firefighters to collect vital information about ongoing fires with the primary goal of providing situational awareness in the event of a fire.
