The Cannabis Questionnaire is Active!
The OCA oversees cannabis business licensing with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and customer service to maintain a thriving, compliant, and responsible business community. Moreover, the OCA connects Detroiters and social equity applicants with technical and educational resources, as well as employment and networking opportunities. The OCA also manages the social equity fund for economic development initiatives developed from statutory cannabis revenue sharing, which is intended to support very low-income entrepreneurs and justice-impacted individuals. Additionally, the OCA advocates for cannabis policies, regulations, and laws that align with the City of Detroit's mission and promotes a safe and healthy family-and-business-friendly cannabis environment in the City of Detroit.
