The mission of the Public-Private Partnerships Division is to connect private developers to public financing instruments, entitlements approvals, and publicly-owned property to further the development of transformational quality mixed-use, mixed-income housing in Detroit - especially in alignment with the Strategic Neighborhood Fund - to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Detroit.

Request for Proposals: New Construction Mixed-Use Residential at 5511-5517 W Warren in the Midwest Tireman neighborhood (proposals due November 15)

 

The City of Detroit's Housing and Revitalization Department (HRD) seeks a qualified development team to redevelop the approximately 35,000 square foot space in front of Butzel Playfield at 7737 Kercheval, in the Islandview Neighborhood.

HRD has a preference to see new construction, mixed use, affordable housing, and retail space however, proposals that do not include the preferred uses will still be considered.

An optional Pre-Submission Conference, will take place on Microsoft Teams Monday, November 18th at 1:00 PM.

The City of Detroit’s Housing & Revitalization Department (HRD) in partnership with the Detroit Housing Commission (DHC) is seeking qualified developers or general contractors to rehabilitate the currently vacant, publicly-owned multi-family building at 2900 Tyler St.

Developers and General Contractors are encouraged to review the current Request for Proposals and express their general interest before the pre-submission conference by sending an email to [email protected].

A Pre-Submission Conference is scheduled for January 6th 1PM and On-Site Walkthrough January 20th, 2025. The proposal submission deadline is February 14th, 2025 by 5PM.
