Mission Statement

The Office of Budget provides budget management, planning, and analysis services to advance the City’s goals and ensure fiscal stability. It oversees all aspects of the City’s annual budget and four-year financial plan, including revenue forecasting and economic analysis, development of the Mayor’s proposed budget, presentation and negotiation of the budget with the City Council, implementation of the budget after adoption, establishing and enforcing budgetary and position controls, and monitoring the budget to ensure continued fiscal balance.
