Midwest-Tireman April 2023 Newsletter

Hello everyone! 

First, we would like to thank those who came out to participate in the important conversation around Detroit’s neighborhoods along the greenway. We started our first round of community engagement meetings in four different neighborhoods across the city, the JLG Westside being one of them at the Tireman Conference & Banquet Center. These meetings were the first round of discussions within the two-year study that will examine the neighborhoods adjacent to the greenway to leverage the project to get more equitable outcomes for residents.
