Recreation Summer Youth Development Organization (184260)
The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the General Service Department and Parks and Recreation is seeking vendors to provide structured, supervised enrichment opportunities for Detroit youth during the summer months. Each summer, the City of Detroit Recreation Department provides free childcare and enrichment programming to nearly 1,500 youth across the city.
Selected vendor(s) will provide all-day programming at non-City partner locations for up to 50 youth per camp location from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday from June 24, 2024 to August 16, 2024. Each camp will have campers ages 6 to 12 years old. Camp programming should be divided into groups by age to the extent possible depending on registration (6-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-12 years).
