CPC Meeting Dates

The regular meetings of the City Planning Commission (CPC) are usually held on the first and third Thursday of the month, except where otherwise noted.  The meetings are held on the 13th Floor of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center in the Committee of the Whole Room, unless a change in venue is warranted, from 5:00 PM to approximately 8:30 PM.  The Commission has expressed the desire to hold at least one meeting per year in the community and will schedule such meetings as is feasible.  The meetings are open to the public and public comment is taken at each of them.  Agendas for the meetings are available three days prior to the meeting.  The adopted dates for the meetings of 2025 are:

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the corresponding directives from Federal, State and City government, the Detroit City Planning Commission is holding its meetings both in person and virtually, unless circumstances dictate otherwise.  Commissioners will meet in person in the Committee of the Whole Room, 13th Floor, Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, 2 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48226. The public is encouraged to participate virtually using the link below.

All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard as to their views. Persons making oral presentations are encouraged to submit written copies to the City Planning Commission at [email protected] via e-mail, for the record.
 
Public comment/testimony may be given at the appropriate times during the meeting when called for. If you desire to speak and are attending the meeting online press the raise your hand icon at the bottom of the screen or press ALT-Y for a PC or OPT-Y for a MAC to raise your hand virtually. If attending by phone press *-9 to raise your hand.
