On March 23, 2020, Governor Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-21, prohibiting in-person work that is not necessary to sustain or protect life. As a result, all meetings of the 2018 Detroit Charter Revision Commission will be held by electronic means until restrictions on in-person gatherings have been lifted by the Governor. 

All meetings will be held consistent with Executive Order 2020-15 and will provide a means for the community to participate. Meetings will be posted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, as modified by Executive Order 2020-15.

Public Comment:  The Commission respectfully requests that members of the public who wish to speak during the Public Comment section of the meeting, send an email prior to the start of the meeting to [email protected].  A list of speakers will be generated in the order the requests were received and distributed to the Commissioners.
