Customer Data Privacy Policy

The City of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department's (DWSD) Customer Data Privacy Policy was initiated for the protection of customer water usage data and personally identifiable information. The policy’s goal is to strike a reasonable balance between DWSD’s collection, use or disclosure of any customer information and to remain in compliance with current Michigan and federal laws.
