Piwok park is a 4.6 acre neighborhood park in southwest Detroit (12226 Visger St). The park currently features a walking path as part of the Joseph Campau Greenway. Piwok Park is vital in providing park access to the neighborhood and it features a playground, horseshoes, flexible use field, baseball field, picnic tables, shelter, fitness equipment, nature play, new trees, and a community planter.

RECENT UPDATES
Park improvement construction is COMPLETE!
By the end of the summer season, the installation of new fitness equipment, a new picnic shelter expansion, additional picnic tables, nature exploration and play area, and newly planted trees was completed.
PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Division (DPRD) received funding for improvements at Piwok Park via Detroit DPW's Slow Streets Improvement Program. A survey and several community meetings (presentations available below) were held to hear what amenities would best serve local residents and families. Community consensus was achieved and resulted in a park design that completed construction in Summer 2025.
