GREENVIEW-WADSWORTH PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Prior to the pandemic, GSD worked closely with Cody Rouge Community Action Alliance, Motor City Grounds Crew, and the Southfield-Plymouth Block Club to create the design for park improvements.  Unfortunately, due to the Pandemic, the City of Detroit reallocated the project funding toward emergency measures.  Then, in 2022, GSD requested for funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to complete the project.  Once the funding was approved, GSD promptly resumed work to make the concept a reality. Construction began in the summer of 2023 and was completed by the spring of 2024.
