WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program

The following Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) clinics will be open during the holidays:

• WIC at Northwest
  • 18930 Greenfield Rd, Floor 1, Detroit, MI 48235
• WIC at Samaritan - Samaritan Wellness Center
  • 5555 Conner, Detroit, MI 48213

The hours of operation are: 

• December 26 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. 
• December 27 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• December 30 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Note: Remote clinic services only

WIC is not a public assistance program.

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutritious foods, breastfeeding & non-breastfeeding support and a variety of resources & referrals essential to your needs at no cost.

Those eligible for WIC: 

• Pregnant women or (recent loss of pregnancy)
• Breastfeeding & Non-breastfeeding postpartum women
• Infants
• Children up to age 5

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
