Detroit Fire Department to launch "Operation Save a Life"
The Detroit Fire Department is launching "Operation Save a Life" on Thursday, April 21 at 11AM DFD members will install free carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms for citizens in the Martin Park neighborhood in District 2.
The staging area will be at 3426 Puritan at the Church of the New Covenant parking lot.
All city residents are able to pick up carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms at the Detroit Public Safety Headquarters on 1301 Third St., Suite 330, from Tuesdays to Thursdays from 9 to 2 p.m. Must be a Detroit resident with ID.
