The City of Detroit Office of Arts, Culture & Entrepreneurship (Detroit ACE) is continuing its partnership with 313 Presents and the Fox Theatre for another series of ACE Nights at the Fox. Through ACE, Detroiters can purchase discounted tickets to five upcoming shows, including family-friendly holiday performances and two imaginative Cirque productions.

The lineup includes Mrs. Doubtfire, the heartfelt musical comedy about a father who becomes an unlikely nanny to stay close to his children; Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, bringing the classic holiday story and its familiar songs to the stage; and Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol, a new take on Dickens’ tale set in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

The series also features ‘Twas The Night Before… by Cirque du Soleil, a family Christmas show filled with acrobatics, music and holiday magic, and Cirque Alice, a reimagining of Alice in Wonderland with aerialists, contortionists, puppetry and dance.

ACE and the Fox Theatre will host pre-show activities connected to the series. Details will be announced at a later date.

Discounted tickets for all five shows are available through ACE Nights at the Fox. For every ticket purchased through the link, $5 will be donated to support Detroit ACE’s operations and initiatives.
