City of Detroit partners with SP Grace to administer Neighborhood Opportunity Fund ARPA Grants, offering enhanced support to local nonprofits
The City of Detroit is excited to announce its partnership with SP Grace, LLC for the upcoming cycle of the Neighborhood Opportunities Fund (NOF) supported by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This collaboration aims to empower local non-profit organizations through both funding opportunities and unprecedented technical assistance.
Starting in late July, SP Grace will host in-person and virtual technical assistance sessions designed to enhance the grant application capabilities of local nonprofits. These sessions not only clarify the application process for the NOF ARPA grants but also provide valuable insights applicable to other grant opportunities. Details regarding session dates, locations, and registration processes will be available on the City of Detroit and SP Grace websites.
The application portal for the NOF ARPA grants will open on September 16, 2024. Applications will be evaluated as they are received, and awards will be granted to organizations that meet all the program’s eligibility and performance criteria on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are expended.
Key Points of the Program:
- Partnership: The City of Detroit collaborates with SP Grace to bring enhanced support and administration to the NOF ARPA grant program.
- Technical Assistance: Specialized sessions start in late July to aid non-profits in strengthening their grant applications.
- Application Portal Opening: Eligible organizations can submit their applications starting September 16, 2024, through an online portal.
