Notice of Public Outreach: 12th Street /Rosa Parks Streetscape Project

The City of Detroit Department of Public Works is making improvements to Rosa Parks Blvd. between Clairmount and W Grand Blvd. in Spring 2022 to improve safety for all pedestrians, transit users, and drivers. The estimated design and construction costs of this project is $9.5 million. The Streetscape will include sidewalk improvements, new lighting, landscaping, road resurfacing, street gateway, site furnishings, and pavement markings and is anticipated to begin construction May 2022 through November 2022

This meeting will be the final vote meeting to decide the layout of the street.
