I Ran The D 5K
The I Ran the D 5K is an annual 5K celebrating Detroit sports while promoting health and wellness within our community. The event will benefit community programs through the Detroit Sports Commission's Living Legacy Initiative, which champions youth literacy, youth sports, and the growth of girls' sports in Detroit. The I Ran the D 5K course starts at Comerica Park at the Big Tiger and runs through the streets of the Brush Park neighborhood before circumnavigating Ford Field and finishing back at Comerica Park. All participants are then invited to take a victory lap around Comerica Park field. Registration includes a safe, well organized race, hooded custom long sleeve running shirt with all four Detroit pro sports teams, custom bib and finishers medal with bottle opener.
