Erma Henderson Park
Erma Henderson Park is a 34-acre park on Detroit’s Riverfront, located at 8800 E Jefferson. The park includes fishing and wildlife viewing spots on the river, as well as basketball courts, soccer fields and a playground. The Park also boasts one of Detroit’s largest public gardens, the 2.5-acre garden was planted in 2019 with over 30,000 plants.
Recent improvements at the park include a major sea wall restoration project as well as an expansion of the current gardens.
