The proposed Michigan Water Affordability legislation, also referred to as the Senator Stephanie Chang bills, have made progress this Fall. The bills have been moved to the full Senate by the committee. We expect the full Senate will vote on the bills in December and we do have some Republican support which will be necessary on the House side once they vote on the comparable bills.
