The Detroit 0% Home Repair Loans Program offers 0% interest loans from $5,000 to $25,000 to help Detroit homeowners invest in and repair their homes – promoting public health and safety, increasing property values and helping residents secure and maintain homeowner’s insurance.

Detroit LeadSafe Housing Program 

The City of Detroit aims to increase the number of lead-safe residential housing units in the City. To qualify for the Detroit LeadSafe Housing Program, there must be a child under the age of 6 living, or regularly visiting, the home or a pregnant woman. The occupants must meet income and other requirements.

Michigan Saves Lead Prevention Fund

A state-wide lead program for homeowners who don't qualify for more restrictive lead programs.  This is a combination loan and cost reduction program.  Homeowner receives a loan for 50% of project cost; the Lead Fund covers the remaining 50%.  Minimum eligible project cost is $2,000.  Maximum eligible project cost is $100,00.
