Adams Butzel Complex

Located in District 2 on Detroit's westside, Adams Butzel Complex offers swimming, ice skating, basketball and field sports, and more. The Rec Center & Ice Rink opened in the early 1970s. Named for two loyal Detroiters - Philanthropist and attorney Fred Magnus Butzel and John “Jack” Adams, the only person to have won Stanley Cups as a player, coach and GM all with the Detroit Red Wings.
