متطلبات الأهلية:

  • لا يوجد أكثر من قناعة جناية واحدة
  • لا أكثر من اثنين من قناعات جنحة
  • لا مخالفات المرور ، مثل التشغيل في حين مخمورا
  • يجب أن يكون على الأقل خمس (5) سنوات منذ تاريخ الإدانة ، أو الإفراج من السجن أو التفريغ أو الإفراج المشروط.
    Can I enroll in Project Clean Slate if I am not a Detroit resident?

    Project Clean Slate is open to City of Detroit residents only.  If you are not a Detroit resident,  please contact  your local Michigan Works ! Agency, Lakeshore Legal Aid, or Legal Aid and Defenders Association.

     How long does the expungement process take?

    On average, the expungement process takes less than one year from the time of registration to the expungement hearing. This process is completed in 5 steps:

    1. Eligibility review
    2. Paperwork signing and fingerprinting
    3. Order and review certified records from court of conviction
    4. Preparation of application for filing and subsequent filing and service
    5. Expungement hearing
     How can I prepare for my expungement while I wait?

    Gather documents that show positive behavior and life events since your conviction. Consider volunteering at a non-profit organization (i.e. place of worship, soup kitchen, shelter, etc.).
