Russell Woods Park

This 3 acre neighborhood park in the heart of Detroit's historic Russell Woods neighborhood off Broadstreet.  The park features walking paths for strolling and a pavilion where the "JAZZ in the park" event is held every summer. The City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Division (DPRD) recently received funding for improvements at Russell Woods Park.  This season DPRD will be conducting community engagement to hear what improvements would best serve local residents and families. After community engagement the project will be finalized for construction in late 2023 and 2024.
