Each year the City of Detroit celebrates Halloween in the D. This family-friendly celebration includes a host of Halloween activities at police precincts, recreation centers and fire stations. Over 30,000 Detroit youth and their families take part in activities with over 1million pieces of candy distributed. We also recognize the contributions of residents that serve year-round as volunteers with their block clubs, community organizations and area radio patrols in each City Council district.
