The Office of Veterans Affairs’ is our newest office that will provide advocacy, economic empowerment, resources, and recognition to Armed Services Veterans that reside in Detroit.

Veterans will have a presence, a voice, and an opportunity to participate in the economic growth of the City of Detroit. Through increased participation, Veterans will be visible in the community, provide awareness to issues that impact them; educate the residents of Detroit on the contributions and significance of selfless service. The results will be seen in increased Veteran ownership, visibility and improvements in the lives of Veterans in Detroit.

    • This site is the most important source for US veterans to gain access to their hard-earned benefits. Here you will find compensation and benefits, medical benefits, veteran records, claims status and veteran news and information.
  • National Archives
    • This site is the storage for all military records. If a veteran is missing or in need of medical records, service records or DD214’s, this is the site to visit.
  • Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency
    • Visit this site to gain access to benefits, education, health and wellbeing, employment from the State of Michigan.
  • Wayne County Veteran Services
    • Visit this site to gain access to benefits for war time veterans facing immediate financial hardships. Access to benefits such as rent/mortgage payment assistance, food insecurities, furniture,
