Two women were driving westbound on E. Outer Drive from Van Dyke. As they approached Mount Elliott, the suspect, Douglas Anthony Kendricks Jr, 23, pulled alongside their vehicle in a black pickup truck, and fired several shots. Victim # 1 (female, 24) was fatally wound. The second victim, (female, 31), was treated for her injuries at a local hospital and has been released.
